مختصر بیان: اذان ایک پیغام ، ایک دعوت: اذان دین کی معروف شناخت اور اسکا ایک اہم شعار ہے جو اپنے اندر متعدد معانی ومفاہیم اور حقائق ومعارف کو چھپائے ہوئے ہے۔ اذان کے ابدی پیغام اور اسکے مضامین سے اکثر لوگ نا آشنا ہیں، لوگ اسے محض پنجوقتہ صلاۃ کی ادائیگی کیلئے مسلمانوں کو مسجد میں جمع کرنے کا ایک ذریعہ سمجھتے ہیں ، جبکہ حقیقت یہ ہے کہ اذان جن حقائق کی طر ف اشارہ کرتا ہے اگر وہ لوگوں کے دلوں میں پیوست ہوجائیں تو انکی زندگیوں میں ایک عظیم انقلاب آجائے ، چونکہ وہ حقائق اکثر لوگوں کے دلوں سے اوجھل ہوتے رہتے ہیں ، اور ان پر وقت اور حالات کی گرد پڑجاتی ہے، اسی لئے انہیں باربار تازہ کرنے اور یاد دلانے کا اللہ نے بذریعہ اذان انتظام فرمادیا ہے۔
اذان کی معنویت کو اجاگر کرنے اور اسکے موثر عالمگیر دعوت سے لوگوں کو متعارف کرانے کیلئے شیخ عبدالہادی عبدالخالق -مدنی حفظہ اللہ - نے زیر مطالعہ کتاب تحریر فرمائی ہے ، شاید اس کتاب کے مطالعہ سے کسی کے ذہن و دل کی دنیا میں کوئی مفید ہلچل پیدا ہو اور آخرت کی نجات اور اللہ سے قربت کا ذریعہ بن جائے۔

Many virtues of Du’a have been mentioned in the Qur’an and the Sunnah: “And when My servants ask you concerning Me, (tell them) I am indeed near. I respond to the invocation of the supplicant when he calls” (Qur’an 21:187). “And your Lord said, invoke Me and I will respond to your invocation” (Qur’an 40:60). “Invoke your Lord with humility and in secrecy” (Qur’an 7:55). “So invoke Allah making your worship pure for Him” (Qur’an 40:14) Nu’man bin Bashir relates that Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “Du’a is Ibadah (worship)” [Tirmidhi]. Abu Hurairah’s narration of the Prophet (SAW): “Anyone who does not invoke Allah, will cause Allah to be angry with him.” (Ahmad)
