عن أبي هريرة أن رسول الله صلی الله عليه وسلم ذکر يوم الجمعة فقال فيه ساعة لا يوافقها عبد مسلم وهو قائم يصلي يسأل الله تعالی شيئا إلا أعطاه إياه وأشار بيده يقللها
Narrated Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him): Allah’s Messenger talked about Friday and said: “There is an hour (opportune, lucky time) on Friday and if a Muslim gets it while offering Salat (prayer) and asks something from Allah, then Allah will definitely meet his demand.” And he (the Prophet peace be upon him) pointed out the shortness of that times with his hands.
ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے جمعہ کے دن کا تذکرہ کیا، تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اس دن میں ایک گھڑی ایسی ہے کہ کوئی مسلمان بندہ کھڑا ہو کر نماز پڑھے اور اللہ سے کسی چیز کا سوال کرے، اللہ تعالٰی اسے وہ چیز عطا فرما دیتا ہے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے ہاتھوں کے اشارے سے سمجھایا کہ یہ گھڑی بہت مختصر ہے۔

It is recommended to recite Surah Al-Kahf on Friday. The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: “Whoever recites Surah Al-Kahf on the day of Jumu’ah he will be given a light between the two Jumu’ahs (i.e. that one and the next one)”.
جمعہ کے دن سورۂ کہف کي تلاوت کا خصوصي اہتمام کرنا چاہيے۔ رسول اللہ صلي اللہ عليہ وسلم نے فرماياکہ جس شخص نے جمعہ کے دن سورۂ کہف کي تلاوت کي، دو جمعوں کے درمياني وقفے ميں اس کے ليے نور ہي نور ہو گا۔

“The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) said that complete bathing (Ghusl) on Jummah (Friday) is mandatory for everyone who is past the age of puberty, and using the tooth stick (Miswak, Siwak) and Perfume as much as he is able.”
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جمعہ کے دن ہر احتلام والے (بالغ) پر غسل کرنا اور مسواک کرنا اور طاقت کے مطابق خوشبو لگانا ضروری ہے۔

عن أبي هريرة قال قال النبي صلی الله عليه وسلم إذا کان يوم الجمعة وقفت الملائکة علی باب المسجد يکتبون الأول فالأول ومثل المهجر کمثل الذي يهدي بدنة ثم کالذي يهدي بقرة ثم کبشا ثم دجاجة ثم بيضة فإذا خرج الإمام طووا صحفهم ويستمعون الذکر
Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "When it is a Friday, the angels stand at the gate of the Masjid and keep on writing the names of the persons coming to the Masjid in succession according to their arrivals. The example of the one who enters the Masjid in the earliest hour is that of one offering a camel (in sacrifice). The one coming next is like one offering a cow and then a ram and then a chicken and then an egg respectively. When the Imam comes out (for Jumua prayer) they (i.e. angels) fold their papers and listen to the Khutba (Sermon)."
حضرت ابوہریرہ روایت کرتے ہیں کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ جب جمعہ کا دن آتا ہے تو فرشتے مسجد کے دروازے پر کھڑے ہو جاتے ہیں اور سب سے پہلے اور اس کے بعد آنے والوں کے نام لکھتے ہیں اور سویرے جانے والا اس شخص کی طرح ہے جو اونٹ کی قربانی کرے پھر اس شخص کی طرح جو گائے کی قربانی کرے اس کے بعد دنبہ پھر مرغی، پھر انڈا صدقہ کرنے والے کی طرح ہے جب امام خطبہ کے لئے جاتا ہے تو وہ اپنے دفتر لپیٹ لیتے ہیں اور خطبہ کی طرف کان لگاتے ہیں۔
